ABOUT THE ARTIST
Meet Charley Dimmick
My creative path began with a BFA from Denison University and a distinguished career in corporate graphics. Seeking a more tactile connection to his work, I trained at the historic Moravian Tile Works in Doylestown, PA, where I mastered the traditional art of ceramic tile production. Working from his studio in New Jersey, I create original mosaics and tiles from red clay, finished with rich mid-fire glazes that celebrate the irregularities of the handmade process. My work is a reflection of local heritage, artisan technique, and a lifelong devotion to the mosaic form.
